Bellows' Safety Culture

For over a century, W. S. Bellows Construction Corporation has earned an unmatched reputation for safely building quality projects to the complete satisfaction of our clients. Tommy Lee, Vice President of Safety, derives our success from clear and concise management and the continued dedication and efforts of our exceptional personnel.

The culture of safety at Bellows Construction Corporation is ingrained through our “ZeroZone” philosophy, which teaches each worker that every action taken needs to occur so it will not harm them, any of their coworkers, or any other person. Bellows strives to create a culture of safety on our jobsites, in our workplace, and at home. Our target is zero accidents and making sure that each employee returns home safely each day.

Due to our safety program and our impeccable safety record, Bellows received a First Place Award at the Associated General Contractors of America’s National Convention in 2011 and 2014, and a Second Place Award in 2008 (award eligibility is every three years). It takes the commitment of an entire organization to promote and maintain a high level of safety, and at Bellows, we are proud to be a leader in safety in our industry.
